The programs offered under the Bachelor of Information Technology are provided through the expertise of three individual schools. One at Carleton University (the School of Information Technology) and two at Algonquin (School of Media & Design and the School of Advanced Technology).

School of Information Technology

The School of Information Technology was inaugorated in 2003 to usher in a near era in technology education and comprises the Carleton University's representation for the Bachelor of Information Technology Degree partnership with Algonquin College. In addition to providing undergraduate teaching, faculty members participate in graduate research and development throughout the year.

School of Media & Design

The School of Media and Design offers a kaleidoscope of creative career opportunities including animation, graphic design, multimedia, advertising, journalism, broadcasting and more. Students learn and explore their creativity under real-life conditions that prepare them for real-life success.
   
School of Advanced Technology

School of Advanced Technology

Algonquin College School of Advanced Technology offers programs in Architecture/Civil, Computer Studies and Electronics/Electro-Mechanical. The Bachelor of Information Technology - Network Technology is a joint degree program in the Computer Studies Department. It includes hands on training to help prepare students for a future career in Networking.
